LEE KIAN HONG
LLB (Hons.) University of Northumbria, CLP
LEE KIAN HONG is a seasoned legal practitioner with over a decade of diverse experience across multiple areas of law. His passion for the legal profession is evident in his extensive involvement, ranging from real property transactions and estate administration to criminal law practice and corporate litigation.
He has successfully completed more than 3000 sales and purchase transactions involving various types of property and, meanwhile, has established himself as a corporate litigation lawyer since founding his own practice in 2017, with several matters resulting in reported judicial precedents.
In addition to his legal practice, LEE KIAN HONG has been actively engaged with the Malaysian Bar, serving as a committee member in the Task Force on the Independent Police Complaints & Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) and Police Accountability since 2017, until its merger with the Criminal Law Committee in 2026. He is also a committee member of the Family Law Committee for the 2021–2024 term.
LIM SAN SHIEN
LLB (Hons.) Universiti Malaya
Mr Lim San Shien is a Legal Associate at Messrs LEE KIAN HONG & PARTNERS. He graduated from Universiti Malaya with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) (Honours) degree. He was subsequently called to the Malaysian Bar on 30 April 2025.
Prior to joining the firm, San Shien was selected by the Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court of Malaysia to serve as a judicial attaché to a judge of the High Court of Malaya at Johor Bahru, who was subsequently elevated to the Court of Appeal. He also gained considerable experience serving as a research officer in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) and as a media officer for a member of the Johor State Executive Council.
San Shien is versatile in the practice of law and actively advises on matters spanning general litigation, banking and finance, property development projects, corporate and commercial transactions, civil claims and dispute resolution.
Among other matters, his work includes preparing legal opinions on a wide range of property and contractual matters, including development agreements, tenancy disputes, landlord-and-tenant matters and contractual obligations. San Shien has also advised on a broad spectrum of banking matters, general litigation and civil suits, with his work ranging from legal research and the drafting of pleadings to the preparation of written submissions.
San Shien has been appointed as a Johor Unity Ambassador by the Ministry of National Unity and named a National Language Icon by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (“DBP”). He was also conferred the title of Community Prosperity Ambassador by the Mayor of the Johor Bahru City Council (Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru) in recognition of his service to society.
San Shien is also known for being frequently interviewed by national television stations and for contributing numerous high-impact columns to mainstream media and newspapers on legal matters, socioeconomic issues, national affairs and international affairs.
